Friday the 13th

I really am starting to question my original choice of getting out of bed this morning. The pentagon is closing a bunch of bases. It's putting out the news on a Friday just like the public relations handbook tells you to do. So, I'm look at the list of bases and I see that Missouri has a "Navy Reserve Center" as does Nebraska. Why does the Navy have bases in landlocked states? Pretty smart move closing those down.
