Haven't we Californians been duped enough by Texans in a company called Enron?

Reading the bill, what it boils down to is making California borrow $5 billion (just what we need, more debt), to spend on natural gas, a business that TB just happens to be in.

TB is about as much of an environmentalist as W.

As for the Prop that ends Props, I am there!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6214806.post-68688339340267900762008-10-21T09:56:00.000-07:002008-10-21T09:56:00.000-07:00On Prop 1... Show the rest of the states what auto-competitive mass-transit can do for everything from security, to commute times, to traffic, to the environment. California is the US leader, vote for it for me if no one else.

On Prop 10... I haven't read it, so I can't speak on it, but according to what I've heard T Boone is Texas' environmentalist - he made his money on the recognition that peak oil was upon us, and has started investing in alternative energy sources (such as windmills across the pan-handle).

So I'm not sure it should be crossed off simply because a Texas oilman endorses it. From what I've read he's actually got a decent brain on his shoulders. It's texas, I get the feeling pacifists and gun-control advocates carry twelve-gauges there, so it would stand to reason that their environmentalists are oil-magnates.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
