The art of spin is putting the best spin on the existing facts. There are some good facts and some bad ones. You use the facts that work for you. I was checking out that other girl, but you're much hotter than her baby. Sure boss, I didn't finish all my work, but what I did finish was excellent. We all do it, its just in politics where it becomes art and science. Sure the unemployment rate is up but GDP is going up. Muggings are up, but murders are down.
Well, the Bush administration is reaching the limits of spin:

Not as single goal is being reached. Not one. No good facts to bring-up. No mixed situation to put the best spin on. Just failure.
