Why Are You Not Done?

Look, the press just isn't saying that Obama is winning. They keep making noise how the race is "closing" that polls are "tightening." Fine, you want a close race, I understand. But you can't then turn around and fault Obama for not putting the race away, like Howard Fineman is doing here. Obama is leading in every poll. Every single one. He's got a huge electoral college advantage, no matter who is doing the EC projection. The press could totally be doing "it's over, next story" type stories. But for a variety of reasons, they are not. But you can't fault Obama for not winning when you won't give him credit for winning.
