Last nights local weather report called the Friday forecast the "shopping-cast." The whole world is in a vast conspiracy to try and sell you stuff today. I for one will be spending today on the couch, with a plate of leftover turkey.
Now now Craig, it isn't the whole world. Christmas shopping season already began in parts of Europe where they have no Thanksgiving to keep Christmas to a few short weeks.
Tell me this, though: how come the running of the bulls in Spain is cool and cultural, but the running of the Americans through the aisles of Wal-Mart is not?

Good question, Erin.
Let me venture a guess ... because we mistakenly believe that humans have more common sense than bulls?
