Is Obama the next JFK?
Ted Sorensen who knows a bit, makes the case.
As Republicans so often and so loudly proclaim there desire for the return of Reagan, deep down Democrats long for a return of John F Kennedy, even if we're not such loud jerks about it. Much like the GOP's current vision of Reagan, our view of JFK is rosy, with bits of what we like from his brothers mixed in as well.
We are all just looking for someone to believe in. A person who can be a cause, who can be something greater than ourselves. I'm hoping to find that in Obama and I think a lot of other people are too.
