I am Magic

Behold the power of the Craigorian Chant election Prediction Ceremony! It brought forth a prediction of a 30 seat gain for the Democrats in the House. And last night the last outstanding House race was settled with another Republican defeated, putting the Dem's total pick-up at ...wait for it...30. I was off by one seat in the Senate, predicting a five seat pick-up when the Dems's actually got 6. Craigorian Chant's staff of political scientists and mystics are working to revise the process to help ensure better accuracy in the future.

I believe that the count of 6 seats generally includes Lieberman, who is not a Democrat, and certainly not the Democrat that the Connecticut Democratic voters wanted to be their candidate. It may also include Sanders, who is an independent. Though both may vote with the Dems most of the time (though Lieberman certainly not when it comes to Iraq), I think the count should reflect actual Democratic seats, not those of hangers-on.

As far as the House, why has everyone given up on FL-13? Democrat Christine Jennings seems doomed to fail in her one-woman battle to overcome obvious fraud in Florida. Why aren't Dems coming to her aid????
