Why does everyone want to go to war with Iran so bad? Do the think its a do-over?

Number 1: Follow the money. Wars mean sales of arms, very profitable to powerful people.
Number 2: The Repubs will sell the "don't switch parties at this critical time" line to get people to vote for them yet again.
Number 3: I think Kristol is right. Bush, to the extent that he is cognizant of the real world, does not want to leave office with Iran as a nuclear power. Having blown any other means of preventing it, he turns to the only solution he knows.
