Good roundup on this Daily Kos post on the number of musicians who are stopping the McCain campaign from using thier music. John Mellencamp, Frankie Valli, Chuck Berry. Heck, Jackson Browne filed suit over the use of "Running on Empty." Mike Myers stopped the use of a Wayne's World clip in an attack ad. The GOP has been largely striking out with creative class types for...well ever. Usually the Republicans turn it around by running against the evils of Hollywood. But when you can't get any music to play at campaign events or in your commercials, that's got to hurt.
