Completely, Sadly True

I'm years away from any kind of education and still, my anxiety dreams are didn't study for the test dreams. It doesn't matter what I'm worried about in real life, my sub-conscious is still worried about those damn tests. I never did study enough.

Holy shit! I have those dreams. Well, sort of. For about 8 years spanning jr. high to college (and only during summer months for some reason) I would have dreams that I was trying to get to school, but I just couldn't. Somehow a flood or a bunch of giant chickens or road that lead every where but school would always prevent me from reaching my destination.

Okay, so I haven't graduated yet (someday, someday), but I have this dream where I'm at American River College trying to get to class and I can't remember which one it is. I'm wandering around in the halls, holding books, loaded down with a full backpack and everyone is pushing past me, knowing where they're going and all I want to do is figure out where *I'm* going!

The meaning of THAT dream is rather obvious. Where *am* I going?

I also once dreamt that I was sitting in a classroom and suddenly realized, wait a minute! I'm not even IN this class!! I don't remember ever doing that, but the dream was so real that sometimes I wonder if there's a suppressed memory somewhere in there.

My typical anxiety dream is so repetitive that it's become boring. I'm trying to make a plane flight and the airport is too big and the security too stupid and so I'm running running running for the gate. Since this happens to me ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME in real life, I really hate it when I have to dream it too.

I don't have that nightmare anymore now that I'm basically the one administering the exams. --Chris

I have that dream, but much more common is the dream I have that someone from Amador calls me and tells me I didn't actually have enough credits to graduate and they're coming to take my diploma away. But the worst dream involves two of my least favorite high school memories: a humiliating Improv moment and Junior year AD Superquiz, now that's a nightmare
