Doing McCarthy the second time around is just farce.
Check out Glen Beck talking to an actual Communist - Sam Webb of the Communist Party USA, trying to link Obama to Communism, and failing miserably.
Because Glen Beck is a lunatic. He doesn't know what Communism actually is, as if that mattered. A guy six beers deep at the end of the bar is a better judge of politics.
Plus, he's doing McCarthy all wrong. You can't just ask an actual communist. You have to be mysterious, say something like "I have in my hand an official list of communists and Obama is on it!" then not show anyone the list or tell how you got it. Refer to secret sources you can't reveal. An actual public interview with an actual Red just falls on its face.
