Interests, Not Friends

We are not so much "fighting a war on terror" as we are "trying to keep Pakistan from collapsing." Which means, if Nawaz Shari gets back into power, we have got deal with him, no matter what the history. Besides, if he's a sneaky enough bastard to get back into power, maybe he can keep a lid on things. And there is no place we need to keep a lid on more than Pakistan.
