Grape-nuts are neither grapes, nor nuts. Discuss.
Do you think that troops will remain in Iraq for the full Bush Presidency?
Did she
Is the BMW Z4 really the best car for Craig's mid-life crisis? I'm nowhere near a mid-life crisis, but I like to plan ahead. After all, Katrina showed us all the importance of planning for a crisis.

When in doubt, turn to Wikipedia:
Grape-Nuts is a breakfast cereal developed by C. W. Post in 1897. Post was a patient and later competitor of the 19th-century breakfast food innovator, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg. Neither grapes nor nuts have ever been ingredients in the cereal. The original formula for Grape-Nuts called for grape sugar, which is composed mostly of glucose unlike most other sugar sources and food sweeteners which are principally sucrose. This, combined with the "nutty" flavor of the cereal inspired its name. Some employees at Post disagree with this statement and claim that the cereal got its name because the tiny nuggets resemble grape seeds or grape "nuts".
I absolutely think that the troops will remain in Iraq for the entire Bush presidency. The man cannot admit defeat or that he's made a mistake, to withdraw from Iraq before everything is perfect will be an admission that we could not accomplish what we set out to accomplish.
And no, I don't think she got off 'cause she's hot, I think she got off for the same reason that most women who molest boys do, that if a man has sex with a 14 year old girl, we clearly see that as harming the girl, but most people see a woman having sex with a 14 year old boy as making that boy's reputation for life. It's somehow "cool" for a 14 year old boy to have had sex with his hot teacher. The reality, of course, is that when a child is involved in a relationship with an adult, it is always harmful.
Oh, and about the car...no doubt it's a hot car, but it's also a very small car, and you are not a very small guy. I think someone like you, who happens to be well over 6 feet should go for something a bit larger...it's all about scale.
Lafave didn't really beat the rap. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced for other sexual activities with this boy in another county. This trial, now dropped, was for other occasions when she had sex with the boy in another county. (Isn't that double jeopardy?)
And the reason this trial was discontinued is because the judge wouldn't accept a settlement that was agreed to because he thought the punishment was too soft. Then the boy's mother dropped the charges because she didn't want to have him go through the ordeal of testifying. Backfired on the judge. In this case, at least, it didn't have anything to do with which gender was the adult and which was the child.
