Now I really need to get some work done and so do you, but before we do:
Tom Friedman is back from vacation and delivers the massive beating that the current Iraq policy is in urgent need of.
The Rumsfeld Doctrine is: "Just enough troops to lose." Donald Rumsfeld tried to prove that a small, mobile army was all that was needed to topple Saddam, without realizing that such a limited force could never stabilize Iraq. He never thought it would have to. He thought his Iraqi pals would do it. He was wrong.
If you only read one guy talking about foreign policy, then you are only reading me. Good job. If you must read a second guy then read Tom Friedman.
Now go read the NY Times devote 10,000 words to how the Administration engaged in massive deception that lead the Nation into war that has cost the lives of 1,060 U.S. soldiers.
Now that I've got you nice and pissed read Boondocks. Laugh. Now go about your day clear of mind.
