Supreme Pot

Hey get a load of this - Rehnquist and Thomas, Bush's favorite conservatives on the Supreme Court - dissented from a ruling that struck down a medical marijuana law. The real issue is State's rights. Can a state law trump Federal drug laws: Um No. But Rehnquist and Thomas really like state's rights to the point that they are objectively pro-pot. So I figure that if Bush's SCOTUS pick is like Thomas (And he has said he likes Thomas) that pick is going to get attacked as soft on drugs. Funny.
